Red Shakes is a musical project by singer/songwriter and musician Sam Da Silva, who is the former frontman for Railroads, another band I’ve reviewed, and you can check that out here. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing his debut single ‘Not The Same Anymore’ which was released January 24th 2020.
‘Not The Same Anymore’ explodes forward from the get go, high intensity guitar and percussion that blends with the strong vocals, a lot of energy in this track, very back and forth feel to the track, a nice balance to it that produced a genuinely nice track to listen to. I also liked the more melodic part towards the end, it added an extra layer to the track, but overall I really enjoyed this fast-paced debut track from Red Shakes.
