Static Satellite are a Glasgow/West Lothian based indie group composed of Ross Whelan on Vocals/Guitar, Ally Taylor on Lead Guitar, Sam Carlyle on Bass and Ciaran Boyle on Drums. If you’re interested in finding out more about the band then check out this interview I did with them by clicking here. Also this isn’t my first time reviewing the band either and you can check that out here. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Waster’ which was released October 11th 2019.

‘Waster’ kicks off with drums, and a funky, almost care-free melody that works really well together, this is built on by the vocals that seem especially suited to the overall tone of this track. I really liked this one, it’s a track that has a simple structure but is really rewarding to listen to, and I would really like to hear them perform it live once things are back to normal.

So that’s what I thought of Static Satellites single ‘Waster’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Bandcamp. Make sure and support the group by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
