The Bleeders are a two piece heavy rock outfit made up of Jackson Harvey on Guitar/Vocals and Daniel McGuigan on Drums/Vocals. If you want to find out a little bit more about The Bleeders, then you can check out an interview I did with them by clicking here. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed the band either, and you can click here to read that. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘God Loves a Fire’ which was released October 1st 2019.
‘God Loves a Fire’ opens with feedback, and what I can only describe as raw, live gig sounds, and that feel is carried through the gig, it’s well recorded but still manages to capture the energy and sound of a genuine live gig, which for me is a big plus. The percussion and strings in this work perfectly together, creating this frenzied dance throughout, and built upon even more by the subtle vocal harmonies. Speaking of vocals, their voices work well for this type of track, something, punchy and high energy but with heavy overtones.
So that’s what I thought of The Bleeders single ‘God Loves a Fire’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the group by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
