Red Hearted Vibrations are a six piece acoustic/indie rock group based in Glasgow made up of Craig White on Guitars/Vocals, Ewan Driver on Guitars, Laura Nelson on Vocals, Scott Brown on Keyboards, Graham White on Bass and Steven Nelson on Drums. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed the band either, and if you’re interested in reading more click here. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘The Day You Tried to Save Me’.

‘The Day You Tried to Save Me’ opens with a constant building note, that crashes into powerful guitars, that immediately sweep you away, the vocals are beautiful, they fit well with the track and are clear and distinguishable. I’ve had this track on the dock to review for a while, but things kept getting in the way, however I did listen to it a few times when I first received it for review as I usually do, and listening to it again now, I realised that I’ve had it stuck in the back of my head since that first listen, which is no small feat for a track, especially considering the amount of music I hear and review. Anyway, jumping back to the track, a personal highlight was the piano section at the end, especially how they managed to blend it seamlessly with the track, after giving it a brief spotlight.
