The Blue Herons is a solo project from Switzerland based musician Andi Jossi, this isn’t my firs time reviewing them either, and if you’re interested you can click here to read more. Andi Jossi is also the person behind a shoegaze project called The Churchhill Garden, which he performs in alongside Krissy Vanderwoude and you can check out by clicking here. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘The Way You Look At Me (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude)’ which was released on June 6th 2019.

‘The Way You Look At Me (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude)’ is a soft, melodic track that builds gently, blending the gorgeous vocals of Krissy Vanderwoude with an atmospheric and light instrumental that just soothes the soul. It’s so airy and hopeful, and recently I’ve been dealing with a lot of issues to do with anxiety, songs like this, uplifting as they are really help.

So that’s what I thought of The Blue Herons single ‘The Way You Look At Me (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude)’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Bandcamp. Make sure and support The Blue Herons by following them on Facebook.
