Benjii is an alternative/pop singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Canada and if you want to find out a little more about him then you can check out an interview I did with him by clicking here. Today though I’ll be reviewing his track, ‘California’ which was released on 4th April 2019.
‘California’ has a smooth, almost upbeat energy, which is offset by the bittersweet feel of Benjii’s vocals, and it’s about time I gushed about what a phenomenal vocalist he is, I was just blown away by his singing. I notice that I tend to like the tracks with a slower, more melancholic edge to it, and this submission really fits in my wheelhouse, it’s just a fantastically vibrant track, that sucks you in early, and you find yourself just letting it wash over you.
