Cloe Wilder is a Florida based Dark Pop Musician, and you can check out this interview I did with her here if you want to find out more. You can also click here to read more reviews of her music. Today, however, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Crying When I Shouldn’t’ which was released on March 3rd 2020.

‘Crying When I Shouldn’t’ has a melodic piano intro that works perfectly with Cloe’s voice, it’s so pure and transcendent that they fit together well. I really liked the rhythm of this track, the shifts in tempo, the higher energy sections, the subtle percussion, it all ties together to produce a track that’s not only amazing to listen to but is also well composed. I ended up reviewed a few of Cloe’s tracks in a row and not only is it great to note the clear progression between each track but it also made me notice how this track in particular is a little busier than the previous two, and how when listened to separately they stand on their own as knockout performances but also work well together.

So that’s what I thought of Cloe Wilder’s single ‘Crying When I Shouldn’t’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify.
