Tundra are a three piece alternative grunge rock group from Sudbury, Suffolk made up of Caitilin Pegley on Guitar & Vocals, Elliot Booth on Bass & Vocals and Elliott Rodger-brown on Drums & Vocals. Today I’ll be reviewing their latest single ‘You’re Welcome’.

‘You’re Welcome’ had a vibrant building intro, that starts with drawn out notes and folds into a compact, instrumental heavy melody, teeters on the edge of a pleasing cacophony, just a hard thrash of guitars, bass and percussion that perfectly compliment the vocals. I especially liked the harmonies in the ‘I don’t like you’ part of the vocals, it had the right balance of cooperation as good vocalist should have, and also edge to it befitting such a line. Overall I really liked this track, it was busy but not overwhelmingly so, it had energy and a heavy, hammering drive to it that I really enjoyed and I could easily see myself listening to it ad nauseam as I often end up doing with tracks I like.

So that’s what I thought of Tundra’s single ‘You’re Welcome’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
