The Churchhill Garden is a musical project by Andi Jossi (who’s also the man behind The Blue Herons), an Indie guitar pop/new wave/Shoegaze musician based in Switzerland. Just before we move on, I’ve also reviewed other tracks by The Churchhill Garden, and you can check that out here.

Bittersweet ft. Krissy Vanderwoude’ starts off slow, an atmospheric rising that sound, backed up by light percussion and Krissy Vanderwoude’s voice which radiates through the dream-like track, and soothes you with its deep, emotional range. The title fits, this track like a glove, it’ beautiful and you enjoy it, but it’s tinged with this sadness that makes you take that little bit more notice than if it was just all fluff and cheer.

So that’s what I thought of the latest track ‘Bittersweet ft. Krissy Vanderwoude’ from The Churchhill Garden, and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Bandcamp. Make sure and follow them on Facebook and Twitter or visit their website.
