Klammer are four piece Post Punk/Dark Pop from Leeds made up of Paul Strickland on Guitar/Vocals, Steve Whitfield on Guitar/Vocals, Mike Addy on Bass and Bruno Almeida on Drums. This isn’t the only time I’ve reviewed Klammer either, and you can check that out by clicking here. Today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Modern God’ which is featured on their album ‘You Have Been Processed’ which will be released August 10th 2018.

‘Modern God’ starts with a very unique opening beat, that makes me think mysteries, and also that Batman cartoon set in the future, Batman Beyond I think it was called. Anyway it doesn’t stay Batman like for long, it blends in and out around that really great riff from the beginning while establishing the powerful and distinctive voice of the lead singer. It’s a really great track, that’s made me even more excited for the album dropping in August because if this is any indication then its going to be tremendous.

So that’s what I thought of Klammer and their single ‘Modern God’ which you can buy on Bandcamp when its released and if you just want to listen to ‘Modern God’ then check it out here on Youtube. And make sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter if you want to keep up to date with the band.
