This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed The Cairds and you can check that out here. Anyway if you’re unfamiliar with the group I thought I’d share a little bit more about them. The Cairds are a three piece indie outfit from Kilmarnock, a town in East Ayrshire. The Cairds is made up of Andy Kerr on Vocals/Guitar, Adam MacDonald on Bass/Vocals and Blair Innes on Drums. If you’re interested in finding out more about the band then you can check out my interview by clicking here. Today I’m going to be reviewing a new single ‘Get Enough’ by The Cairds which was released on the 23rd February 2018.
‘Get Enough’ opens with a nice flair, that’s a little bit jarring but builds really well and fades at the perfect time to be replaced by the band. This song has excellent pacing, perfect to listen to whether you’re in the mood for something mellow or something with a little more energy. I like ‘Get Enough’ and at the risk of using an obvious joke I can’t get enough of this song, it’s not harsh, but easy going and easily something that I’d still on my next playlist.
So that’s what I thought about The Cairds new single ‘Get Enough’ and like I said in the intro keep an eye on The Cairds social media for when the video goes live so that you can get yourself a copy of it. Speaking of which check The Cairds out of Facebook and Twitter.
